I have always had a great passion for the incredibly rich human journey and the call to evolution towards Wholeness and Higher Consciousness.

My first step into Holistic Health education began over two decades ago in Toronto (1995) where I attended the Transformational Arts College for two years part-time. In this powerful program, we explored the realms of Aromatherapy, Massage, Reflexology, Energy Healing, Herbology, Homeopathy, Nutrition, and more.
Following the completion of that program in 1997, I went to McGill University and completed a 4 year Bachelor of Arts Degree in Eastern Religions, Psychology, and Women’s Studies.

The next step was to become a Registered Yoga Teacher through Yoga Alliance.  I successfully completed my first 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training Course at the Nosara Yoga Institute in Costa Rica in early 2004, focusing on Interdisciplinary Yoga (Hatha , Power, and Kripalu Yoga).

I then moved to Vancouver in the fall of 2004 to earn a Master’s Degree in Transpersonal Psychology through the Clearmind Institute and an affiliated International University.

I now live part of the year in Costa Rica where my Italian husband, Francesco, is co-owner of Mystica: a beautiful hotel and retreat center in the north central mountains. (www.mysticacostarica.com) I teach Yoga in a Prana-filled sanctuary tucked away in the forest, overlooking a flowing river.  My ‘office’ for Massage, Reiki, and Holistic Coaching is in a healing tree-house where monkeys often visit us on the external balcony.  Ten years ago I self-published my first book on the subject of healing: ‘Beauty’s Way: Inspiration on the Path of Awakening’. I also co-created the book ‘Yoga: True Nature’ with my dear friend George Fischer, who is a professional photographer. It was published in April of 2020.

It is a great joy for me to organize and lead Yoga & Wellness based retreats in Costa Rica, Canada, and Italy and I also am honoured to be the lead trainer for a 200 hour Yoga Teacher Trainings certified by Yoga Alliance.  I founded ‘Mystic Yoga Academy’ and hosted my first 200 hour intensive training at Mystica in February of 2016. It is always an incredibly powerful, transformational, and rewarding experience to be part of peoples’ journeys toward realizing their greatest dreams and preparing them to live and lead from love.

My precious son, Valentino, is one of my greatest teachers in this life.  He opens me up daily to great innocence, wonder, and huge-hearted love & sweetness.

And the journey continues…

Namaste!
